The Ivor B. Clark Company was founded in New York City in 1929 by Ivor Bache Clark of the "Long Island" Bache's. A Master Financier, Mr. Clark broke the mold by declaring that the Borrower would be the focus of his loan arrangement service, versus representing lenders. For the first time, this allowed the firm free access to all of the active Capital Sources in the marketplace.
This unique approach continues today at the Mid-Atlantic offices of Ivor B. Clark. This "Whole Market" approach has allowed the firm to arrange Capital placements for countless landmark properties in need of unique and even rare sources of capital.
